Location of Bailchhari Union in the middle of Banshkhali Upazila. The distance of this union from Upazila Sadar is about 6 kilometers. It is bounded on the north by Kalipur Union, on the west by Katharia Union, on the south by Saral Union and on the east by Madarsha Union of Satkania Upazila.

Bailchari union is under Banshkhali upazila. It is the first union in South Chittagong which was established in 1922. It is a part of Chittagong-17 constituency 293 of the Jatiya Sangsad. The villages of this union are:
